Beverly Hills District - Slides & 3-D

Beverly Hills District is known to have issued two neckerchief slides, used instead of patches for camporees held in 1969.
Construction: Embossed & printed on plastic discs, applied to a polished brass neckerchief slide base.
These slides were made by Camp Sales Co., owned by long-time Santa Monica scouter Glenn Gordon

It is not known exactly which  Beverly Hills camporee or camporees used this slide instead of issuing a patch but it may have included one or more years between 1963-68,

Anacapa Island is
the northernmost island in Channel Islands National Park. It is accessible by boat, 11 miles offshore from Port Hueneme, Ventura County, CA

Camp Sales Co. and Crescent Bay Area Council used this design commemorating the California Bicentennial as a memento for Scouts attending the Beverly Hills camporee in Fall, 1969.
